September is the January in fashion. Each fashion magazine competes for the most pages, mainly of ads. Of course, Vogue defeated it's competitors... by a few hundred pages. Despite flipping through a minimum of lets say 250 pages to get to an actually story, the September issue is almost like a Bible to the fashion industry.
