please don't call pita, it faux

After repeatedly saying how bad I want a faux fur coat, "santa" finally delivered. Almost every store in town was out or didn't even have one in stock, so I was pretty shocked this was wrapped under the tree. The day after Christmas, the weather was frightful. According to my car temp, it never reached above 40 degree. I know it isn't like the blizzard storm most are about to endure, but it's Florida... this is a blizzard to us. We did have some snow flurries! It was probably the most exciting this I've seen. This faux fur coat was perfect for the weather.

With some days over winter break being a little on the freezing, it has allowed me to break out the coats and closed toed shoes. However,  this cold weather can only last so long. While Europe is having a snow storm, I am able to wear my flip flops and possibly get a tan. There is only a few days till Christmas and I am still running behind on my shopping.

I think I wear black and white together more than anything. It's kind of a bad habit, but as much as I want to break it when I go shopping, it usually never happens. In the end, I walk out with more black and white articles of clothing rather than colorful clothing.

The other night I headed to watch an FSU fashion show with a group of girls I haven't seen in months. It was the first time seeing each other in forever and actually catching up. We were lucky enough to snag a few seats in the front row and get the best view of all the clothes. This was the fashion show that I participated in last year (and the first time I actually sewed clothes), however, due to my hectic schedule I wasn't able to do it this year. But I did go show my support. While I came to support, I left disrespected. Unfortunately, it was an uncalled for circumstance, but I am still glad I attended the show.

...to the fashion show. When I went to Atlanta, I pretty much had my mind set on what I would wear, however, I ended up changing it. I knew I needed something that I would feel comfortable in, or else the night would have been miserable for me. The one thing I would change about my outfit was the shoes, my feet were screaming half way through the night!

I probably choose the wrong day to wear heels and jeans, I was literally running around all day. I completely forgot about half the stuff I told myself to do. But all in all, it is good to be getting back into the hang of things. The weather has been beautiful the past few days, with lows in the 50s and high in the high 70 or low 80s. It is perfect for a pair of jeans and lose top with cardigan.

The one spot to get an amazing view of Tallahassee is Level 8. On such a beautiful day, this was the perfect place to be at. I've never had a fear of heights, but being on top with a glass rail made me my stomach turn a little.
